Court fines Google for 3 mln rbl for failure to nationalize data
MOSCOW, Jul 29 (PRIME) -- The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has fined Google for 3 million rubles for the failure to move Russian users’ personal data to the country, spokeswoman Zulfiya Gurinchuk told PRIME on Thursday.
"Google LLC was ruled guilty of an administrative offense stipulated by part 8 article 13.11 of the Administrative Code, a penalty in form of a fine of 3 million rubles was imposed," Gurinchuk said.
This was the first fine under the data nationalization case imposed on Google.
